“Global Warning”, Anna FruchterThis is a visual piece based on thermal imaging, a type of imaging that recognizes heat and outlines of an object it displays colors of reds, oranges, and yellows when something is hot and greens, blues and purples when something is cool. My art depicts a human hand in front of the earth, and this hand projects heat onto the earth. This is a symbolic interpretation of global warming because humans are increasing the temperature of the earth’s atmosphere by using fossil fuels and emitting CO2.
